Before installing an electric car charger port, we must complete a survey of your property to assess your current power supply. It may be necessary to upgrade your electricity supply before we can install your home EV charger. After a survey, we can advise whether your installation is eligible for the car charging ports notification process, or if you will need to submit an application to Western Power Distribution (the distribution network operator for the Midlands).
If work meets all notification criteria, we can install your charging port without an application, but you must notify the distribution network operator of the installation within 28 days.
